WOUND DRESSINGS
ANTI-MICROBIAL
Any type of antimicrobial or antiseptic powders can be distributed into cellulosic or synthetic supports with the Fibroline solutions.
Thanks to an optimal location of the powder form additive, a perfect fixation or a controlled release can be obtained.
ODOR MANAGEMENT
To improve patient comfort and reduce unpleasant odor, perfumed powders or odor adsorbents can be incorporated into wound dressings.
A large range of materials are available for this type of use.
ABSORBING
Fibroline impregnation technologies are particularly adapted to dry impregnation of superabsorbent (SAP) powders or other absorbent materials which cannot be used with solvents.

IMPLANTABLE DEVICES
HEMOSTATS AND SEALANTS
Hemostatic substances can be impregnated into absorbable patches with the Fibroline technology.
Such products can be used to stop bleeding on internal organs even when existent products are ineffective or need too much time until required result.
DURA MATER PATCHES
Fibroline impregnation technologies are adapted to dura mater repair grafts for neurosurgery.
Those nanofibrous solutions are especially promising when the opening in the dura is too large to be sutured together.
HERNIA REPAIR
Knitted fabrics can be impregnated with several active ingredients for hernia repair.
Monofilament as well as multifilament meshes are compatible with the Fibroline process.
OTHER MEDICAL APPLICATIONS
DIAGNOSTIC DEVICES
Specific additives as pH-indicators or biosensors can be impregnated into dressings to reveal if the wound is infected.
Visual indicators of microbiological growth can make a signal visible to the naked eye.
BLOOD FILTRATION
In blood filtration, Fibroline can impregnate any type of nonwovens (e.g. meltblown, spunbond) with functional additives.

Fibroline impregnation technologies are fully adapted to foams, as well as collagen matrix.
Such structures of animal origin can be coated and impregnated with different APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients).
MASKS
Functional powders can be impregnated into protective masks or surgical clothes to give specific properties (antimicrobial, absorbent, etc).
GAUZES
Gauzes in 100% cotton or combined with synthetic yarns can be impregnated with any type of active powders.
