Fibroline can impregnate in a dry way the primary backing of tufted carpets. Then, binding of the carpet piles and fibres occurs by melting the thermoplastic powder and gently calendaring the product.

Fibroline superiority:

- Loop piles and cut carpets (velvet)

Weight: from 300 to 1500 g/m²

Powder binder :

- EVA (granulometry: 0-100µm, VA content: 28%)

Weight: from 50 to 200 g/m²

Properties:

- High bonding of the piles.
- Recycling properties (100% thermoplastic carperts)
- Improved mouldability (no SBR)
- Good stiffness in spite of low density
- No “sand effect” (no mineral fillers)
- Adhesive properties on structural materials

- Automotive part covering (trunks, floor, panels…).
- Public transport interiors.
- Airplane floors.
