Fibroline can impregnate in a dry way non wovens or fabrics with high adhesion properties polymers.
Fibroline is able to manage the powders position inside the material, even when these powders are blended. Because of its ability to distribute adhesive polymer on the surface and low cost polymer in the middle of the support, Fibroline can lead to subsequent raw material savings with the same mechanical properties.

Fibroline superiority:

- Considerable reduction of high cost polymer (PCL…)
- Flexibility of the dry process and energy savings compared to wet process

Support:

- PES
- Cotton fibres

Several fibres can be used, depending on mechanical and marketing properties wished

Resin matrix:

- The majority of low melting point polymers can be used, from PEBD to PCL.
- EVA, PUR or PVAC powders can also reach the adhesion properties required on leather products.
- Most of the time, 2 different powders are blended to reach the right cost/stiffness/sticking compromise.

Properties:

- High stiffness material
- High adhesion properties on leather
- Low bonding temperature (60 to 80°C)
- Low density

Applications:

- Footwear industry (toe puff, counter stiffener…)
Shape retention of other leather products (seats, bags, leather working…)
