The patented FIBROLINE process impregnates fibre assemblies (wovens, nonwovens made of natural, mineral or
synthetic fibres, and open cells foams) with powders (thermosetting, thermoplastic, mineral, cosmetics etc) with the
help
of a strong alternating electrical field.
The process may be used in a continuous installation, from 30cm to 5m wide, for instance for impregnation of wipes,
felts,
glass mats foams, hygienic products, etc.
It can also be used in a discontinuous form for
small production series, or for small parts impregnation.
Speed varies from 6m/min
to 100m/min (or more), depending on application.
FIBROLINE process has a very wide
range of applications: each time one needs to put a material inside a porous
or
micro-porous support, the FIBROLINE process may be of interest, because it is:
